Our guest last week on Art of the Song is jazz singer / composer, Eve Fleishman. Eve serves up an “old soul” sound, weaving together elements of smoky jazz, motowny pop, and showtunes to create a unique listening experience. Since her days as a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Eve has honed her craft as a multi-faceted singer and songwriter. Eve spent many years in Nashville, releasing four CDs in rapid succession. Now calling San Francisco home, she recently released her new City Light EP, featuring songs about the romantic city by the bay. We spoke with Eve live with an audience at the Art of the Song Coffeehouse.
