Our guest last week on Art of the Song was singer/songwriter/renaissance man JAMES LEE STANLEY. James was born in Philadelphia, PA, and has been recording and performing since he was fourteen. He has toured consistently since he returned from the Air Force (as a Chinese linguist) and has performed up to three hundred dates a year since then, with such diverse acts as BONNIE RAITT, NICOLETTE LARSON and the late ROBIN WILLIAMS. With over 30 albums to his credit, James Lee Stanley is one of the most prolific artists we’ve had the pleasure of interviewing. We spoke with him in our Albuquerque studios after the release of his LIVE CD, Alive At Last.
